Monterey - When and Where are you going to be?

I've been thinking about Monterey and how the weekend might pan out and here's the deal for me... If all I do is go to the races one day and may or may not go to a show another, I'm having a hard time justifying bringing my coupe. I live about four hours away and I'm staying in a motel, the car doesn't lock, I'm not parking in the corral, yada yada, so I'm basically driving the coupe from venue to venue and driving back home when I'm done. Fun, but I'm not sure its worth the risk and worry when I'm not with the car.

But, if a bunch of e9coupe.com forum members were to get together at a set time and at a set place, a parking lot full of coupes, meeting all the guys that we talk to online, having a beverage and maybe cruising together for an hour drive in the nearby hills with photo shoots... THAT would make the whole trip for me. The other celebration stuff is great, but I really don't need my coupe to do it.

If I could justify the cost of the corral and all the shows I wouldn't even bring this up, but I can't.

I'll be down Friday for Legends, and the Festorics on Saturday and Sunday with corral parking.

I'm game to meet up with other Coupe owners after the event, grab dinner, photo shoots etc.

A friend of mine is a really talented photographer, so if we all chip in he might be inclined to follow us around and take some shots.

At least sign up for the Legends corral, we are planning on parking all coupes, display and judged, in the judging area. And Thurs eve we have an informal get together planned in Pacific Grove for all coupe owners, I will post details when we get closer to the event.
