I've never seen anything like this, especially given the claim that it is a factory display piece. Seller stance on shipping is a bit unclear, but it looks like the seller is open to shipping but doesn't want to box it up himself/herself.

Original very rare Alpina wheel table. This was supplied by Alpina BMW dealer to equip the Alpina salesroom. It is an original Alpina product and nothing self-made. Made from a 20 "Alpina wheel.

Dimensions: height approx 69 cm in diameter with glass plate 70 cm, without about 55 cm.

Local pickup only, no shipping - unless the buyer take care of themselves to this. The sale is the exclusion of a private guarantee and redemption.

BMW desk,chair and side table.

The table shown is very nice and very simply to make.

I've seen some of this stuff in the flesh and it is UBER cool.
This is stuff I'd love to have in my office (home or work).

Much cooler than having a Recaro office chair... And I jut happen to have a spare 2002 trunk lid and grills for doing this when I retire.

Neat stuff.

I made a V8 (chevy 400 block with 4 piston risers) with glass top and a couple E9 office chairs. If I was to do it again, I'd consider using a dummy block from Summit or xxx and paint it. Much lighter and no cleaning required!

Highly suggest having them on casters, makes moving alot easier!
 
13inch glass?

Why is it getting harder to get 13 inch glass?
Any glass company will cut whatever size you want relatively inexpensive.

For some reason, I've always pictured my spare 14" wheels as ceiling fans.
