What a great job you've done presenting the car's details/flaws/condition realistically while providing some beautiful natural setting shots that convey how the car is truly outstanding in it's field. Pun intended, and also true. Interesting history too. Good luck with the auction.

Yes - Excellent presentation. There have been a bunch of E9's on BaT recently.
Some of them have done well, some of them not so... With the way yours is listed, I think you'll end up on the upper end of the scale..

Love how it's Euro and doesn't have the bumpers that typical US versions stick out so much. Although interesting it has the side markers.

Sunroof cars get more money I think on BAT. With clean cars like your's, no worries about rust caused by the roof.

Q: is that a rust hole or was something drilled here?

Remember, to highlight (for the BaT readers), any old copies of US registration paperwork, as that will let US buyers avoid duties in bringing it back into the states.

Both door windows do not close all the way up to bring the chrome list ,in line’ (as it seems).
Not commented by anyone ? How come ? Minor issue, good car ??
Rubber door seals hardened or non OEM replacement door seals used ??

It depends what year you have. Sardine can motors use rubber bump stops, mid-73 improved motors have adjustable stops in the regulator.

Thanks for the comments guys!

@teahead That is two holes drilled beside each other. Not sure why!

@m5toureg Good eye! The one door window wasn't fully closed. I like to roll the last bit when the door is open to save the seals. However looking at older pictures I think the windows don't go to the top although they do seem to seal nicely.

@adawil2002 Thanks for the comments on BAT! It was nice meeting you in Monterey. Loved showing up to the hotel and the first open spot I saw was next to your E9. Wish car week was possible this year.

Amazing car. Prefer w/o the CSL arches tho.

Only thing I would do is add a right-side mirror (I like symmetry, regardless of function) and the door panels w/no cut OEM-pattern ones.

Should fetch big $$$ me thinks.
