Sorry guys gave a bit of a bum steer been down to see the car this morning - it went through the MOT and guess what failed on the brakes - every thing else is fine. So I have 10 days now to get this sorted and re-tested....please can someone help.

Right so it is the REAR brake where one of th wheels is locked on and therefore not enough braking force on rear of car hence failed. Pipes, are brand new, there are new lines and calipers have been all refurbed too. My car is RHD converted form LHD so the set up is perculiar but then again same as many out ther of this type and age.

Bleeding is fine, really struggling now to work out what it could be???

Dont want to go down the converting to newer set-up route.

cheers

I would say the brake proportioning valve but i think this just controls front/rear braking power. Are you sure the pistons in the caliper are moving freely on that caliper if you release the pressure using the bleed nipple?
