Hi all,
I didn’t think this day would ever come, I had even organized a double sized grave to take it along with me......
Many here know my car to a certain degree and before I write a book on it, I’d rather communicate directly with those who might have a serious interest in a hot rod Csl. This is not for the ones looking for an all original Csl, rather for a Csl with serious Alpina bit’s and lots of umph to it. Original color is Tiaga and if it does come down to it, repainting it won’t be the issue, although the Tundra suits it perfectly and paint is in excellent condition.
Basic info
VIN 2275300
Alpina Group A engine (dyno 296hp)
5spd dog leg
3:07 rear diff
and a never ending list of all that’s been done to it.
Two trunks, steel trunk with big wing and Alloy trunk......I have to keep checking my self not to spill all the beans.
I bought it in 1995 and a couple of pics when the work started, just to show that this was a real nut (pun intended) and bolt job. Every single Alloy part was brand new collected over the the years (doors, hood, trunk, door hinges, rocker covers).
Its got no outstanding work to be done......
Ideally, call me if interested, what’s app too under +49 170 7241730. Im better at talking than e’mailing :)
Email address: [email protected]
thanks for looking
Keshav
ps. I’m not going to answer generic questions from inquisitive minds, for seriously interested folks, I can talk you onto a coma, that’s how much I have to say about this unique coupe that’s been my one and all for decades.

I agree. This is a nice car and Keshav has always been pleasant to communicate with.

Best of luck on finding the right buyer -- hopefully one will reach out to you soon.

One of the nicest and well loved CSLs I know of. Thx for all your help over the years! Good luck with the sale and hope the new owner appreciates all the time and effort it takes to get a car to this level!

Thank you for your very kind words and that to from a very respected member with cars and Csl’s of the best quality.

Nothing would make happier than to see it with someone I know from all my years here. I guess all of us who sell our dream‘s hope they go to someone we can relate to.

@dang im here to stay, my addiction to this forum is a life long thing. With or without a car.

Keshav part of me hopes it doesn't sell so we can keep you in the family! But in all seriousness we wish you well and hope you pass it along to a suitable owner and you are able to go in the direction you wish for! We are all indebted to you for your knowledge and help to our hobby. We will not accept you not visiting das forum!

What a machine!!! This is a serious CSL that must be on the shortlist of any serious buyer.

I have particular reason to be grateful to Keshav, as I am the beneficiary of his wisdom, advice and guidance. He is a man of the greatest integrity and he is an encyclopaedia of CSL knowledge.

Keshav has become a great friend, and one who is absolutely committed to the highest standards in all he does. This car is a reflection of his perfectionism - a no-expense-spared labour of love – the best of the best.

I agree that the ideal sale would be to another Forum Member so that this fabulous car remains, as Steve has said - ‘in the family.’ The good news is that Keshav has promised to remain active on the Forum with or without his CSL.

Good luck with the sale, Keshav and thank you for your many selfless acts of generosity.

I must chime in here to reiterate what all have said. I’ve never seen this car in person, but knowing Keshav, it is likely the best driving Csl one could find. If I were in the market and wanted a car to drive and enjoy vs. trailering around to shows, it would be on it’s way to my garage.

Many thanks for that Chris, we all know that coming from you, that’s a statement not to be taken lightly. Sincerely appreciated!
Domt know what to say for all the kind words from all here...... except, THANK YOU ALL SO VERY MUCH

and he is an encyclopaedia of CSL knowledge.

We all learn during our ownership and from those who know more than us.......
HST, a large portion of my knowledge and facts would not be so without the unwavering support of @Yannick whom we all know very well, a person whose knowledge is unquestionable. I am very privileged to be under his wing and that he entertains ‘most’ of my questions, regardless of how irritating I must get at times. When I don’t have an answer (which is often) for a specialized question on the intricacies of Csl’s, I ask him for explanations so the answers provided are correct.

Say it isnt so...bhai...I just saw this thread. I never thought I would see this day....You live and breathe the e9 and that car is truly a beauty...Keshav has helped me soo much over the years and always with a smile and sometimes a funny joke. I wish I was in Germany to talk you out of this decision.

hey Keshav ... i missed the post originally. its sad to read this, but i know you will stay in contact with us. i still hope for a trip to europe to meet up with you sometime. i know my coupe will always have a part of you with it ... the lovely 38cm petri.

i know there will be a new steward of your beautiful CSL.
all of the best my friend.

I second everything others have said. Keshav has been the ultimate gentleman on this forum since I joined and has always been my ’go to’ with my novice CSL owner questions. A sensational CSL will find a new home and we get to keep Keshav around - sounds like a win win to me :)

I wonder what I can get for a kidney? o_O

Such a fantastic build by THE guru. Good luck with the sale, my friend; let us all hope it goes to a true fanatic. I look forward to many more years of your advice here on the forum.

Thank you for all the help and friendship these past years,

Ed Z
