Surprised to see this pop up on youtube today. This vehicle was built by my Dad's company in the late 70's. He tried his hand at making Electric vehicles by investing in a Golf Cart company that was called Marathon Electric vehicles in St Leonard, Quebec (east end Montreal) and hoping to take it big like Bombardier ....perhaps with the help of Quebec and the Canadian subsidy system. Was not to be. This is really a Marathon C360 Hybrid that Briggs and Stratton commissioned Marathon to build. They had Brooks Stevens do the body, but the running gear is quite crude underneath. It was all hand made by old school Italian guys with Mig welders and home made benders. Worked there two summers in my youth before taking a student exchange job in Belgium at the Ford plant in Genk, where I saw how cars were really made. Also rewired my brain permanently working on the Press line.
