I always loved them as a kid for their styling; a Tr4 IRS for me please.

Then growing up, saving up, studying engineering, had a friend with 40+classics, from all regions, he said: Erik, you're a precise guy, an engineer - stay away from English stuff. You'll go nuts, pour gasoline over it and set it on fire.

I bought an e9... thought "Hey it's German. How difficult can it be?

I'm a Healey man, myself. Photo shows my Colorado Red 3000, Mark 3 I have owned since 1976. In the foreground is the Austin Healey Sprite Mark 1, "Bugeye", I have just completed.. Man it is small! I enjoyed the message given to Erik. Yes, these English cars do drive you mad. But the more time you spend with them, the less they can surprise you!
That is one nice looking TR6, though.

love the 'big' healey ... my brother had a Mk III for 40 years or so. it was a blast to drive. yes the sprite / midget is a small car. i always liked the looks of them, but being over 6' tall since i was 15 meant that i NEVER fit in them. if i did squeeze in, i looked over the top of the windshield with the top down (ONLY).

The rear of this car is insane. I look at photos of this car every day and I can't stop...
If I drove something like that on Polish streets, I would probably end up in every TV news and on YouTube.
This car simply oozes extravagance...
This car looks great in its factory original form, and the conversion and modifications have brought it to the next level.
A car from 1939...

Very nice TR, but I' partial to the TR250/TR5.

Just not sure if I can fit in one at 6' 3" long in the torso. Would like to sit in one someday to find out.
