Mystery Trunk Accessory?

Anyone recognize this part? It's too big to fit in my E10 - so I thought maybe it was an option for E9 cars. I would love some help identifying it if possible.

This part was also in the E3 models. The North American E3's did not have this part after 1973 model production.

i was going to say, that looks like the one that was in my '73 e3 ... with the wheel chock holder on the back.

Keep it, they are handy. I used a little double sided velcro tape on the bottom to stick to carpet and keep it from sloshing around.

My E10 trunk already has the big plastic bin between the shock towers so I think I will find a local E3 owner who will get some joy out of this little one!

Yes, these organizers were very useful to keep Jimmy Hoffa’s belongings neatly separated. The toolbox however was problematic to transport prospects in the trunk as they could use them to make havoc.

That's the E3/Bavaria bin which fits perfectly on the Left side of my 1973 2002Tii.
