Nachtblau CSi on Chasing Classic Cars?

I had recorded the episode and watched it several times. They clearly show a tube coming out of the c-pillar vent area, and actually sprayed water into the tube from the sunroof opening and watched the water come out of the tube by the c-pillar after unclogging the tube. Wayne and his helpers comment on how clever and ingenious BMW was to have it drain that way!!

So it seems someone must have in the past cut the sunroof drain and shoved it into the c-pillar area. They even showed them spraying water on the other (unclogged) side and sure enough the water was coming out of the c-pillar area. Very strange indeed.

Begs the question: Who would want it draining on a freshly painted car??

I finally watched the episode today. I accept that the F40 crew are not experts in e9s, but jeez - aren't there any fact checkers for the television program? The amount of misinformation about the sunroof drain alone - makes one wonder what else they've done to the car. I'm pretty sure they "fixed" the other side to match the bunged up side (surely the work of a PO or their repair shop. And this right after I watched another episode about F40 returning a $10mil Bugatti to originality. It calls everything into question. I wouldn't be surprised at these things coming from Bennyz Rod Shop - they don't claim any expertise in the marque, they are just generalists. But I assumed the Carini shop carried more weight.
