So I've got a broken plastic horn ring that sits behind the button and seems to hold in place the grounding ring. Also, I'm not that excited about the horn button I have, it looks kind of cheesy. So, I was thinking about replacing the entire mechanism if possible. My steering wheel is great, no need for a new one.
A quick google only led me to new steering wheels. How does one A. define what size horn button to shop for and B. know where to shop?
In a perfect world I suppose someone here might have a cool one they would sell?

As always, many thanks in advance.

Thanks for the kind words, Dave.

Thomas, sounds like you just need a new horn ring, but it depends on what kind of Nardi Horn button you want to use? If you want a Momo horn button -the most options available- I have an extra metal ring that works on a Nardi hub for a Momo horn button that I can send you gratis. Unfortunately I only have 1 Nardi horn ring so I need to hang into that, but they are readily available on eBay, etc. The PCD for Nardi is slightly larger than for Momo, so they are not exactly interchangeable.

If you want to go with a Nardi size horn button I highly recommend an old Personal (Pre-Nardi) horn button if you can find one. It’s my personal favorite (pun intended). John

Thanks for the help! I don't have a part that looks like that but could be missing. This is what I've got. The black rings on the right used to be one piece that probably captured the middle piece in pic.
It is possible a new horn button comes with all those parts. Do you happen to know?

Thomas, yours looks a bit different than mine on the back. Looks like maybe you are missing a piece or some clips possibly? Those types of horn buttons are actually still available new, not cheap, but still available which is pretty amazing really.

Your type of horn button should just fit nice and snug in the hub, at least in the older style solid hub. You may need the horn ring in a newer aftermarket hub however. Hope that helps!

I like what I'm seeing on the back of yours, close enough to assume I'd probably need to buy a complete button set. The likelihood of finding the internal retainer is not looking so good...

Thanks for your help guys, I've narrowed it down to either sourcing a new horn button or attempting a repair on the one above. I do not see an opportunity to buy just the broken piece even through Nardi's website.
