Need help with Hella switch

I'm working on some wiring under dash and found this switch. Not connected and switch mechanism missing. Hella with makings 61/35-3. Not sure what its for. Can somebody help me. Thanks.

I have the trim under my dash torn up right now, but don't recognize that. Can you post a picture from a different angle?

Doesn't look like a coupe switch or receptacle of any kind I've ever seen. What year is your coupe?

What year is your coupe? Could that be the 74 flashlight receptacle in the hood latch door?
