Need info on 'flocking' or 'felt look' for glove box

3 Dimensional Flocking.

Hi Guys,
The only way to do it right is by having it done by someone who does it on a 3D machine. The process is using fibers that have a positive charge and the reflectors on the machine having a negative charge which make the fibers stand on end giving a smooth velvet feel. It should not be fuzzy which would be the results if using a flocking gun. The German machine I had I used was $80,000 and that was 48 years ago. There were only two in the states.
I am working with a company that does 3 D flocking and hope the results are as good as I expect. If not I am going to make a 3 D set-up using a plexiglass box and the same positive negative process. I will do anyone who wants one done at cost.
Thanks
Koopman

just let your wife drive it for a week and it will be so full of "stuff" that you won't know if it's flocked... or not

I apologize for the digression but the glove box flock is remarkably similar to one of the two infinitely renewable materials I will never run out of, to wit:

1) Lint
2) Envelopes

My dryer is an infinite supply of lint. My postman brings me an infinite supply of bills to pay all of them in paper envelopes. If I could figure out a way running cars on lint and envelopes I would have solved the oil crisis without Elon Musk.
