Its a special gray brown

You've mentioned that before but I don't think that I've heard anyone other than you reference that color. My coupe is a special grey brown in certain areas also, but I don't think that it came that way from the factory. ;)

You may be right

I may be crazy
but i like it markos
you got it right though markos
as it does show the gray brown in the wheel pic
i sent them a message hopefully they can get back to me
thanks marko

Just a thought on the grey-brown color; In a couple of my painting "errors" the clear coat can give a brownish tint to silver, I have not noticed it on other colors (even white) but that may be the issue?

The wheels in the attached pic are two piece Alpina softlines. They were never black or brown in the center. They are a silver color in the center with a factory alpina lug plate. I painted mine black since I didn't have the plate and wanted to sell the wheels.

The FPS and the Alpina wheels have black centers (on e9's anyway). You can't go wrong with satin black.

They have been tight for 4 months
but steel would be good when i have them painted
my wheels centers have always been that color for 30 YRS.
i like it black is boring to me in the center
rubber valves 35 yrs since i owned the car
