My csi is still for sale but today I finally got to pick up an incredibly rust free former Cali car. 73’ 3.0cs currently an automatic. Also picked up this 1 owner Porsche 356 a couple weeks ago. These will stay together for a very long time.

What level of work are you anticipating on each, and how did you find them?

Porsche was a 1 owner car that’s original and been sitting for about 25 years. It will get cleaned up, mechanically gone thru. And driven until a full restoration down the road. E9 is remarkably rust free with new paint. But the engine bay needs paint. It will get the bottom side stripped and some sort of undercoating/bedliner, color matched bedliner(haven’t decided yet and open to suggestions) the engine and suspension will get rebuilt. 5 speed swap, efi conversion with megasquirt.

A friend of mine's dad was restoring land speed legend Donald Campbell's 356 a few years ago, was propper battered but the owner was prepared to sink over 100k into it.
