Just taken mine to bits and there are five seals in the original system. Is there one missing here?

The RHD BMW kit is always a bit different to the one you strip down, you just need to work out what to reuse and what to replace, remember one seal goes the wrong way round from memory, aha yes you can see it in the picture,

I would like to buy the kit, Pat

There are 5 seals (highlighted in Orange) required for the master cylinder. I cannot understand why the kits only come with 4 seals?

Also, what are the parts I have highlighted in Blue? These were not inside the one I have just dismantled.....

Any ideas??

Resurrecting old thread, but I have the 4 seal repair kit, genuine BMW part made by Ate bought from W&N, apparently a redesign to improve it by removing one of the seals on the front piston. The Ate installation instructions only reference the 5 seal kit, and I can't establish which seal was removed. Does anyone know which way the rear seal on the front piston faces? Edit: Found the answer, it faces toward the pedal.
