New right grill available by1/15

I ordered both grills a year ago.
I got the drivers side left one.
Came in a box and had layers of dust on it.
The right side grill did not show up but the order was not cancelled or was it shown NLA.

So just decided to wait and see if they found one at a dealer or ?
Nothing happened.
I had mee some of the BMW Group Classic at a previous Amelia and Legends and knew a few of them by name. I had an email conversation going with one of the guys in Germany. They didn't have a supplier.
I saw him at Amelia and approached and asked him about the grill. He was disappointed that it was not in production yet.

So just a week or so ago I get an email that they have found someone to make some more grills and they should be available by the end of 2014.

They are ridiculously expensive but if you are restoring a car a really good grill is hard to find?

So if you are interested I suggest you put an order in soon.
Not sure how many they will make and if both sides?

So in most cases you would have to order at a dealer.
We get discounts in the US. You may not be able to get those in other countries?

Done and done - I'm in the greater Ft. Lauderdale area.

Checked on the grill today.
Grill is still on backorder and now the release date has been removed. :-(

So back to where it was over a year ago.
Let you know if I hear anymore.
