Not mine. This car was originally Bristol and changed to Anthracite which I believe is also an accurate color for the 3.0. I believe that Bristol is a rare color on the 3.0.

4 speed, original engine, power sunroof

Interesting. The seller did suggest Ceylon but then provided a Bristol sticker photo. Are you familiar with the car? The body looks clean from a walk around video he shared.

Someone in CA is interested in the coupe and received pics from the seller. It looks like a decent coupe.

Jeff here, new owner, new member. I bought this car July 1st. According to BMW Archive, it was Ceylon 008 originally. US Spec car delivered to Hoffman in New York in July 1973. Somewhere , it made it to Southern California. Not sure when. Paperwork I have shows 2002 color change and restoration. Previous owner in 2002 located in Torrence CA was Bill Evans -- any one on this forum know him? The owner in Brooklyn sold it to the guy I bought it from - he lived in Arlington VA. Now the car is in my garage in Oklahoma. Will post pics when I get it thoroughly gone through. Any information on this car from any one on this forum would be appreciated.

Hoffman Corp address was NY, none were delivered there, most likely CA if it was out here a long time. All 3500 Hoffman US coupes say NY.

I searched my old CS Registry logs and that VIN wasn't in there so don't have any additional info.

Thanks Chris, BMW Archive is where I got the original color Ceylon from and build date of 6/1973 and delivered to Hoffman in July 1973. They had no other information on the car. Hopefully someone on the forum here knows more about it if it were a California car as I suspect it was.
