Thinking about what I'll be doing to the Coupe this winter I found this: https://www.ebay.com/itm/BMW-3-0-Cs...7364?_trksid=p2349526.m4383.l4275.c1#viTabs_0 Mine is cracked all over, like every 3/4" there's another crack going to the outside edge. I have read that all windshield gaskets are "not" created equal, so, how to know the good from the bad? Is this a good one & if not where do I look?
Another question: I'm 6 foot tall, does everyone 6 foot & over hit their head while driving, or is something wrong with my cars seat?

i'm 6'-3" and i am tall from the waste up and i have no headroom issue in the coupe ... and my seat is not reclined that far either. so my question is whether your headliner is sagging?

Perhaps someone can vouch for the Ebay seller since he has the worst feedback rating I have ever seen at 88% with the sale of 305 items.

I was watching Comedian in Cars Getting Coffee tonight. Alec Baldwin’s head was almost touching the ceiling. I looked him up and he is 6’. Go figure...

I'm 6'4" and my (short) hair was sweeping the headliner in my non-sunroof coupe, with worn original seats.
Headliner was/is definitely not sagging. I didn't care much about it since I was going to use Scheels anyway, and with those I have enough headroom.

Exactly my point, it looks like the seats are coming out to get a bead on this. Not today though, gotta get the vacuum wipers going better in the truck for inspection & a blood drive this afternoon - I have no idea why they think I make a good volunteer for these events

Maybe Mr. Baldwin had a thick hemorrhoid cushion on the seat? I am 6'2" and have plenty of room. HBChris is much taller than me and he has room

Sunroof car also. He lost a lot of weight as well...

I was very surprised aswell, I remember reading in older threads where many stated that 6'4" won't be a problem in a coupe, especially a non-sunroof coupe.
My torso length is average for my height, but sitting in my preferred driving position resulted in my hair touching the headliner when I moved around.
The original seats had been reupholstered in the past, so who knows what was really going on with them, but they didn't seem to be any thicker/higher than any other original seats I've seen though.

I’m 6’5” with no sunroof and head isn’t close to headliner.
(with tongue firmly planted in cheek) ... but you are mostly legs + arms ... your problem is probably getting enough leg room and getting the right distance from the steering wheel.
