I'm considering selling the service kit which was released by BMW and handy for any E3/E9 user.

The Kit (taking into account it's age and the fact it is not "NOS-like" part) is in good condition.

It has (as pictured) marks of usage (in the car trunk probably) and one deep in the Styrofoam (looks like it was created by a heat). But all in all the parts inside have never been used. It is still a useful service parts box for someone driving E3/E9 regularly and paying attention also to the tools carried, to be the car era-aligned. It seems to be an option for such a Owner.

There is also a manual attached (few pages) in some popular languages, incl. English.

I have no idea about its value as I was not able to find any similar offer anywhere. For sure it's value is not in range of 38cm Petri's steering. :cool:

I'm open to consider reasonable price offers. You can PM me freely.

Sorry if I made a mess but unintentionally.

It was not my intention to bid as on eBay. Rather to receive the offers on PM and make the final choice on my own.

As I have stated in the beginning All interested people can PM me freely.

But official offers are not forbidden either.

Preferred payment (as usual) is PayPal but wire transfer is also fine.

I also still have that used quarter floorpanel section that I promised to you for free. Keep me in mind please.

My intention was not to be an auction but in the end it looks it is.

If I would know how much it can be I would just put a sales price according to the recommendation to the rules section.

Being on the forum for a while I noticed several people are not disclosing the selling price even if they know it.

All in all what matters is how much interested person is willing to pay and the deal should be satisfying for both sides (Buyer and seller).

Probably I was not clear in the beginning. Maybe because the English is not my native language maybe I did not consider too much. Never mind now.

For me as a person selling it is important to sell the item to the person which propose the biggest price as money will be used for hobby (BMW project) purpose as the body parts getting more and more expensive and I need to gather many of repair panels. So the purpose of the money gained in simple - body panels for my Bimmer project car.

I will be open for any proposal from the Older and more experience Forum members (including closure of the advert!). Only people who are doing nothing making no errors, right?

According to the advertisement, there was no price. I was about to consider the higher offer.
I was not expecting official bidding. Maybe I should just send the link to eBay? I still can do it if that would be the best option.

I'm happy and admire official offer from @CTD but according to the advert it was not a "who's first" offer like sell.

In case Senior Members would not propose other solution, not to make people feel uncomfortable I will gather different offers on PM.

From my side I can promise not only the price will matter in the end but please do not ask me for formulas or other details of my decision.

Thanks in advance. I hope I will never be in similar position on here. I wish to have few of such a sets to be able to satisfy All interested Members.
 
I am sorry to have put you in this position. I am a bit rusty when it comes to how forums deal with this.
I am unsure how you should handle this but I think you can just list the amount you would like for it or else make it an auction I guess.
 
Suggest you let it go to the first person that made you an offer and we move on :)
I'm guilty of forgetting to list a price sometimes but it was the comment about leaving the post to run in the hope of getting higher offers after a member posted their offer that prompted me to respond.
 
Looking on the way discussion is coming (not about the part itself but towards my choices)...

I'm not E9 car, not E9 part to be a center of discussion here. My choices are mine. I took my Lessons Learned for sure.

I will stop the sale for unknown period of time as I will look for other options whatever that means.

Sorry to All which might have been wanting to propose the prices and acquire the box.
