Nice car

Very, very nice, especially for $60K. Most great California cars seem to push $100K and up. I guess the Stanceworks image is to show what BBS RSs look like. Great buy for someone looking for an original car.

i saw this a couple of days ago when it popped up on ebay. didn't look at it too closely but what i saw looked quite nice ... and the price was reasonable.

Something funny about this coupe, I remember the photos at the selling dealer which he is using. And selling at a loss, what gives?

Maybe a "have to" rather than a "want to" sale. Hard to think it will take long to get that price.

I kept checking here to see if anyone was going to comment on how nice and well priced this car seems. Barring any scams or hidden gremlins, this car has had me considering selling mine and buying this. Wow.

i have heard a couple of horror stories about Schmitt ... some cars NOT being as advertised - with hidden defects, including rust. a former forum member who lived on the east coast warned me in a big way not to buy from them unless i went and looked at the car before hand. i have NO first hand experience with them.

it doesn't say that this seller spent more money than they are selling it for ... the schmitt showroom price was 59,900

To give benefit of doubt, seller may have bought a year ago and invested some more$. Try to contact seller... It might be reasonable to BIN, but bring specialist with you for pickup/payment in person. Listing says "no rust perfect , everything in excellent condition" -- that is a pretty firm commitment from seller.

If truly truly rust free, $60k w/BBS RS wheels and a rebuild engine and gorgeous paint/interior...a really good buy IMHO!
