Far more practical, especially the last two.

This will probably diminish my standing around here (such as it is), but when I found my toolkit had been ravaged by the seller of my car, I bought a Sears toolbox and put in it a set of combination wrenches, a pliers, a channel lock, a combination screwdriver, some picks, duct tape, bailing wire, a magnetic pickup, flashlight, bottle opener and a flask of Makers Mark.

So, I've got that going for me.

Also took Murray's advice, have one of the last new M1 tool rolls that I keep tools in.

Just looked at the tool kit photo on the Tech Info pull down menu. Under Coupe Articles August 1973 page 162, it appears the pliers overlapped a little, there is no blue cloth (although I like the one I got from Bert, and the spark plug whatever is straight without a taper at the narrow end.
