Has the right facia that will fit in AC-equipped faceplates.

Remember w/the amp and aux input, you can connect an aftermarket amp connector and bluetooth connector respectively.

That Wunderbar is pretty slick; something my Europa II doesn't have.

Based on the archeology I've uncovered, that is the exact radio and amp setup that was in my car at some point before I got it.

I think the Becker’s look so much more classy in an e9 or e3. Blaupunkt’s are for 2002s
I have to get around to installing mine.

I was being facetious. Hope I did not touch a radio nerve. Vintage Blaupunkts cool too. Mine works just fine.

i agree that is your taste,
mine is beckers are for mercedes, too much over designed in the aesthetics, just like @autokunst said four fonts, and those lines in the lateral
very similar behavior in design mercedes and beckers, IMHO
while bmws and blaus are a bit more simple and eclectic, the others tend to overdesign,
both beautiful

beckers seem to be superior in reception quality, never tried one

I have a Blau in mine that was original to the car, the tuning knob will no longer adjust the station, but the pre-set buttons work and the radio plays.

Was planning to send it out for repair, but one of the well known independent radio repair guys here in NJ said that he can no longer get parts for them, and not to bother sending it in.

With a donation by HBChris and repair per his recommendation, I finally finished this. I think a nice compromise of originality and aesthetics. Yes Porsche knobs for now.....oooooo MB knobs for now. Thanks Enoz!

I have a newer Blaupunkt that has a similar issue. It's got knobs who's width can be adjusted and the sort of sliding plate U joint part that enables that function has failed. It should be possible to 3D print a replacement, but it's a bit of work to do the modeling and get it printed. I'll get to it eventually, or will have found another radio solution by then.

I keep going back to this - I realize it's just a custom faceplate on a kenwood but it's a good deal for a modern stereo - yeah not a vintage look:

That one wont work for me (as far as I can tell), the 1972 A/C car requires a post-mount radio.

I sell a 3D printed faceplate with a DIN opening. Good option if you want a DIN radio without hacking up a $600 factory original face plate.

This is unpainted. Most people opt for texture painted ones but that isn’t viable for me in the winter.
