I bought a set like that for $5 on Ebay a few years ago. I think there are at least 20 folks on this page with a set of Zeniths occupying space on a shelf somewhere.

agree, i bougth six sets many years ago, those sets had gave birth to many carbs fixed, now i have been left with a box full of disconnected bits,
 
300 for this set seems 6 times to much in my view.
For sure these need an overhaul, including some new parts. It's the opposite of plug and play.

I think i have 4 sets in my small garage, all partially disassembled, most of them missing >25% of their parts... I never paid more then 75 euro for a set.
