Yes, BMW archives for free will tell you:
1) build date
2) color
3) delivery destination or dealer
Someone here will post their contact info...not sure about getting options, although there is a birth certificate available from BMW that some say is not worth the $100? purchase price...

Unfortunately no and Hoffman records are long gone but all US coupes got leather and A/C unless perhaps delivered at the factory.

2800CS may have manual Windows, 3.0CS have front electric. Automatic is based on your VIN.
Like HBChris says, not much there, sunroof, lsd were about the only significant options available in the US, other than metallic paint, all had ac and leather, radial tires and antifreeze :smile:

This is all I received from Andreas:
"The BMW 3.0 CSL VIN 2275030 was manufactured on September 21st, 1972

I was able to get from the Netherlands BMW club until it arrived in the USA, the complete chain of title and early pictures ; and then there are only two of us since then .
Still for sale and appreciating every day. No rush on my part! Just saying. };>)
I once owned a US '73 CSA that came with the window sticker from the US importer Hoffman. It gave a pretty good description of the options as I recall. RB
