NOS - round headlight relay

yep ... he would have got it for 46 if it wasn't for me. or i would have got it for 46 if it wasn't for him. either way ... it was at the top end of the market ... but its a rare animal.

i have 3 - 2 on the car, but they aren't that nice.

Maybe it's just me but I'd pay $50 all day for mint NOS can relays. Something that visible when the hood opens. Just as rare on ebay Germany too. Sorry to drive the market up

on some of mine, you can't lose what you never had. maybe when Steve gets this NOS relay, he can have new stickers made so that we can all have new looking round relays.

I hollowed out mine and put new relays inside. As Chris mentioned, they shine-up OK, but you loose the lettering. Stickers to bring that back would be great.

I'll check but weren't they ink stamped? That would be easy to make a couple stamp sets then they can make the rounds to anyone who wants for the price of shipping. I'll investigate. Sounds like I wasn't top picking the market afterall ;-)

Mine do look like they had a stamp used--blue ink.

I have seen small relays with black background decal and small and large with the simple blue lettering and logo.

relay variants

hi... I have seen these as well. the one in my pic (black background) was for the A/C relay.
The blue 'stencil' type is either the horn relay or the headlight relay(?) on my 72. There are 2 by the battery. DCG
