NOS wiper arms on Ebay

is the bidder c***0 on this forum? if so, don't you have enough e9 new wipers? leave a set for the rest of us to be able to buy. if i remember correctly, you've already bought 3 or 4 sets that i have noticed.

I have a set from a car I am parting, can post pictures if anyone interested. they are in great shape, used. will let go for a decent price to a fellow fanatic.

Well, they went for north of $400. Which seems a little nuts to me, but at least I was happy to push prices up.

If wiper arms cost that much, whither the price of complete cars?
 
I'm planning on short selling wiper arms, because Stan will level the market!!

Put me down for two sets - especially since I'd clearly pay more.

Re BMW's manufacturing, my understanding - which comes from talking to the individual in charge of Mobile Tradition in Munich - is that they are ramping up production of non-sheet metal parts for the E9 in the next 12-18 months. Not sure whether that means that wipers are included, but my guess would be they would be included as small parts that are relatively easier to manufacture and can be sold at a (significant) markup.
