thought id throw out a QUESTION PUZZLE
WHAT PART IS NOT BMW SPECIFIC -
OR ANY CAR FOR THAT MATTER AND IS CRITICAL FOR SAFETY OF THE VEHICLE ?
AND IS NOT SOLD BY ANY CAR DEALER -
LOOK FORWARD TO THE MARIAD OF ANSWERS

Parts that are critical to safety:

- Rubber sole shoes, when I drive with stilettos I endanger myself big time

- Prescription glasses, the blind leading the blind is a metaphor, not a driving style

- Espresso machine, I once thought I could stay awake while I was dozing off driving, you cannot

- Nunchakus, avoid you and your E9 getting car jacked

- A wife, she sits by my side and reminds me not to drive like a maniac

I have it! Air.

Pressurized air is critical for the wheels.
Underpressurized air (aka vacuum) is critical for the brake servo.

Got ask a dealer if they sell you air at a specific pressure and put it in a bag for you...

The missing part? It must be the the part of car repair that puzzles me the most:
Why do i like getting my fingers pinched?
Why do i like so crawl under my car to remove underbody coating by hand?
Why do I like to figure out it is supposed to work?

I asked my bmw dealer and they said they cant do anything without a partnumber. And that i actually have an E30.

ITS REALLY A VERY SIMPLE THING MOST LIKELY NO ONE WILL EVER GUESS IT
ILL POST IT IN TWO DAYS
ITS REALLY QUITE A DIFFICULT THING TO THINK OF
HINT IT IS LOCATED FORWARD OF THE DOORS

Wiper blades? Washer fluid? Headlight bulbs? I don’t buy consumables from a dealer so I couldn’t say what they sell. It’s safe to assume that they keep all of this stuff on hand for service.

I can guess that the answer will be frustrating and we will all be let down. :D

If you owned a Mercedes W100, you could ask for power window fluid. Same for seats, sunroof, and doors. Super amazing vehicle!

These are great cars have wanted one for 30 years. Had a chance to buy one for $25K in 1992. Have 2 friends who have the SWBs. After driving one, everything else is a go cart. My ideal 600 SWB is Dark Green, Cognac interior, sunroof with Euro lights. Would also love this one with a manual gearbox. https://www.mbgrand600.com/vin0081-1965-manual-600-swb

U SHOULD KNOW BETTER HA
OK HERES THE ANSWER
