I like the $2,477 starting price for the 1600. Assuming the ad is from 1969, that is the equivalent of $17,411 today. What sort of manly new car can you buy for that now?

Ha! mine too, 1959 600 sedan with the big Webasto-like roof, $120 in 1976 complete with a broken crankshaft and a stack of Playboy magazines under the seat.
