Oil Pump

Yes they appear to still be available. New they run about 500 from what I can tell. I was hoping someone might have one they don't need since perhaps they've upgraded to a B35 and don't need it anymore.

OK, I was wondering since you were asking for a new one. Not a good part to have go on NLA status.

B35 pump only fits in a e9 oil pan if you modify it.

Yes, I am looking as well.
My motor has a pump I do not want to use again.
There was some unusual wear in the housing where the impeller lives.

Hope to find one locally.

On another note my flywheel surface was fine and I was going to get it resurfaced only to notice the ring gear (the gear the starter motor connects to for starting) is worn out.
Can't buy a ring gear in the US but they have them in Europe. Go figure?

If anyone has a flywheel that is bad but has a good ring gear please let me know?

Gary

Perhaps one of our European brothers can buy one and send it to you parcel post?

My dealer will get parts from BMW Germany at no charge to me in about 7-10 days.

Gary, I should have been more clear. I bought a pump from DQ for the 3.0 which I did not end up using and it is now for sale. I recall several others looking for a pump for a B30 type oil pan.
