What memories of the 50's and early 60's. Of cutting holes in the hoods of 55-57 Chevys, especially Chevys, modifying a stock 283 cubic inch engine, mounting a "Jimmy Blower" with dual four barrels on top and launching from the quarter mile line at the local drag strip.

That's where it all started for me.
 
Nice car - but a bit over the top for me.

This is more my style... Actually - this is my car.....
Was my car in high school and had it ever since (with my Mom driving it from the late 1980's through to the mid 1990's - in the Monterey area).
Has been now restored and is sitting about 40' from me in my shop. Restored mostly stock but with some minor mechanical upgrades... Goes like stink (when I want it to).
Fun times....

no - 4bb 302 with automatic.... F code I think...
Not too many options on this car. Power brakes (front disc) and... just the GT package.
Pretty simple (but fun) car.
