I know it's a far cry from being Orange Andi but would you mind researching the (humble) provenance this vehicle
and letting me know your opinion? Given the visible strut bar in the pics...If I bought this car (and moved to Austria)
that way I could own the pattern original? lol! Assume this might this be the very same Coupe (that started you thinking
about the Strut bar replicas) sans the BBS RS wheels now for sale with original Alpina wheels as illustrated?

Also the shipping on your bars? I am now back on the list and suppose as offered
I can assist in your efforts to deliver same economically in the USA?

Cheers!

This is the same car !
And this is the strut-bar that makes me think about doing the same.........
This week i get back the 15 pair from the heat treatment, so the lucky one´s will have a christmasgift !
Call me Chris Kringle (this comes from the austrian name Christkindl)

For cars, POA seems to mean "price on application".No idea where that came from.
Thanks Bill of all those definitions Wiki could dream up the correct one in this instance isn't even there! I suppose when the've checked one's bona fides and Dunn & Bradstreet report they call the owner (whom Andi likely knows by now given his enthusiasm to measure) and charge a commission...lol~!

And this is the strut-bar that makes me think about doing the same.........
What buying this particular CSL or?

letting me know your opinion?

IF not, how about hooking me up here with the owner if you got his card at the meet or ? Is this a consignment, what sort of sale is to be expected this dealer?

Cheers!

I havn´t got his card, he´s not my kind, therefore I consider it were unnecessary :-?
I made my strut-bar complete by myself, without the help of his pattern, guess why ?

The car is very good, not excellent, but quite perfect.
Restauration was done by professionals, at his own workshop.
And "Price: on request" says a lot.......you would make no good bag !
You will pay every hour he had invested..........

You will pay every hour he had invested..........
Ceylon (Gold) lovers are that way, perhaps not as kindly generous with his time as similar lnka afficianados@!

Point him out here and maybe I can put a 'generosity' hex up him and imagine him calling over here to the US on his dime to offer me his car
(at 2 'cents' on the Euro) but only IF I solemnly promise to take very good care not to scratch the paintwork and give it a very good home?

:mrgreen::mrgreen::mrgreen:

One can only dream....

Must be the gent with the apron, appearing here to be calmly choosing which hydraulic hose to tear off next and use the contents of same on his Wiener Rostbraten...?

One thing I did learn is the appearance of the RS wheels here at your meet IMHO looks far superior to the original Alpina style with chrome flares and this color...

figured...I was just being silly and attempting to demonstrate that even us US owners have enough Savoir faire to not pour Dot 4 on that partualar Austrian meat-dish!

Wish money grew on trees..eh?

Now... about those magical strut bars of yours?

Or is that a bust?

Cheers!
