Original Ft. Worth coupe

If it is as stated probably a fair deal- wonder what the reserve is? The thing that I like is it's all "original" seller states it would be a good restoration? Looks like it needs nothing, but as you said Steve- no money shots. San Antonio?- not that far away :)

OOPS again,

Man, brain not working this morning- Close to Dallas- not that far away. I guess this is going to be a bad brain day- I better be careful.

If I were a prospective buyer I would have already been there this am with cash to offer in case the inspection pans out.

I just picked up a 1964 Fairlady which lived its whole life in Dallas. It is nice and dry there and a great place for a classic car to live. Peter - you should hit the road and pick this one up. I just sold my almost exact same car or I'd go get this one.

Cheers

James - what did you get for your coupe? Was it in similar "survivor/unrestored" condition?

I sent the buyer a message on ebay

I might go up and check it out but let's see if the seller answers me- so far it looks like no bids- but it's early.

Seller replied to me and said someone from "another forum" gave a $2000
Deposit pending inspection. Not sure what price? Maybe the 30k buy it now. He will contAct me if deal falls through.

I got $19,500 for mine - but I haven't gotten the final payment/check yet. Fingers crossed it gets here tomorrow or the day after.

I probably could have gotten more but that seemed like a fair price for the car.

Cheers

Fairlady

jamesw- Sounds like a fair price and lots of luck to the new owner....

BTW any pics of your Fairlady?? would love to see it....

There is a Datsun roadster 15min from my house, but its a major project....always liked them and there is one type (high windshield?) that looks pretty sharp to me...

Not to hijack the thread or something but here is a picture of my 67 Fairlady (2000) that I recently completed. It was a frame-off restoration.

Now I am working on the 64 - which is a very funky car. Lots of cool design details - including a third seat which is located behind the driver and passenger - and faces sideways!

Cheers
James

Asked questions- no response

I don't know how long it takes for a response on eBay but I asked the seller yesterday about the door re-spray and if the car resided in Ft. Worth its entire life and have not received an answer back- I made sure I was very polite (I think) and I also notice no bids yet- I would love to check this one out?

From the limited info I received back, it sat basically undriven for 10+ years, he thought maybe 2-300 miles per year.

Very hard to tell in the posted pictures what we are looking at.

Got some info

Basically the same as posted below- I offered to visit the owner if the deal does not go through, but with a 2K deposit and if the car is as stated it looks like it will be in someones hands soon. Seller seems to be forthcoming with what info he has and offered a number for more information- I believe from his dad.
