Paint question

I have an extra set of alpine style rims needing refurbishing.

If I wanted to paint them, what is the correct paint name and code#?

Also, is the underside of the hood and trunk also clear coated if 2 stage paint is used? What about the spare tire wheel well, clear coated?

I have used the Wurth silver and clear and it looks great and sprays on very well. For 4 wheels get 2 cans silver and 1 can clear. You can also use Krylon dull aluminum but it doesn't apply as well and loses its luster if clear coated. The experts say Polaris is what the factory used back in the day.

I used Polaris Neu Met 060 low VOC base and a clear coat which I believe was a urethane.

Sorry for the slight diversion of the thread.
My wheela are already painted silver, but the centers are not black. Any suggestions on how to mask the silver and just leave the center circle to paint black?

Cornishman, I made a cardboard mask that fit the dimensions of the rim.
