Pantone Color of the Year 2026 = Chamonix?

Pantone has announced it's new color for the coming year and it's a pretty close match to Chamonix.
It's been named Cloud Dancer. ugh. I'll just call it Near Chamonix.
I've seen several new cars with colors that have a similar off white vibe so it seems like Chamonix is trendy again.
I'm glad to see my decision to keep my car it's original Chamonix is matching up to the swing of fashion.

The RGB equivalence is 240 238 233. I've created a swatch to show the color with a band of pure white at the top for reference.

My first 2002 in 74 was Chamonix, my now sold 79 528i was Chamonix (the last year BTW) and my 73 is Chamonix so yes it is my favorite.

i remember when alpinweiss came out, i loved the 'clean' white on the e30 straight line cars. chamonix shows the rounded cars so much better. its one of the few colors that all interior colors look good with - black, blue, tan ... and RED

True! And Green….not original but I love it. With Don for final paint and rust repair now.
