3 Italian Weber’s off of a 3.0 from John Feng

Folks, these Weber’s were installed back in the day on a 3.0 coupe that got the whole Alpina treatment. When removed I was told by Mario the car was running great but the owner wanted the convenience of modern EFI.

AFAIK, they are the correct “tipo” for a mid 1970’s to early 1980’s USA Alpina intake system, and were likely the original carbs installed new with the Alpina upgrades. To those who appreciate authenticity and correctness they should have more worth than a new set of type 152’s

Stan, someone said you’ve hit 120mph with your new motor (closed course, professional driver).
I can’t use these on my Alpina motor because they are too small. I have found a restored set of 45’s, of the correct tipo, made in italy in the late 1970’s. Yes they cost more than a new set from Pierce Manifold.

Bump, willing to break up some of this (I.e, head, sway bar, etc.) OBO. Unfortunately, I don’t have the time necessary to ship myself. Would like to clear these off of my workshop shelves...

Close to 120 for a brief period. Who know what triple side draft would add? I could ask @Mario L.
Just bolt on and go? Doubt it would be that simple
But it would be very cool!!!
@bfeng With a 3.5L with high compression pistons would those carburetors be the right size?
