Are these "original" versions of the orange books I've seen?
These came out after the last printing of the Orange Books, usually around $100. Carl Nelson may still sell these.
Carl does sell the reproduction copies !
For some reason realoem just excludes parts that are annotated in the diagram. You will see number 5 in the diagram, but the parts list goes 1, 2, 3, 4, 6, 7 ...
One thing I like about these books is that all parts are listed. That is how I got the part number for the HL Washer fluid reservoir.

You can get reprints of the orange books on ebay also.
I bought the books for $250 on EBay. Waiting for delivery.

Band 2 is still available new for $22, unfortunately, band 1 is nla. https://www.ecstuning.com/Search/SiteSearch/01_09_0_035_234/ I have both the orange and white parts catalogs, but the original orange books are so much more portabe and easier to use. Leafing through the bulky binder pages can be a challenge sometimes.
