Pastrami on rye run to New York for Shane

We took our daughters to Martha's Vineyard maybe 6 years ago, such a cool place. Since getting the crap scarred out of me seeing Jaws in the theater when I was 10, I have always been a big fan of the movie. A lot of it was filmed in Martha's Vineyard, we went to some of the locations, including renting bikes and riding out to 'Jaws' bridge. This being the 50th anniversary of the film's release, there's probably all kinds of activities going on there. Looks like some guy replicated the 'Orca' from the film.

Jaws was impressive at the time, but I think that my E24 shark aged better than the movie...

Yes they do. But the waiters there are known to stick their thumbs into the soup
Let's go over the whole story:

Arde: Waiter, why do have your thumb inside my soup?
Waiter: See, I broke my finger playing basket ball and the doctor said I should keep it warm until it heals.
Arde: Why don't you stick it in your ass then?
Waiter: Indeed, that is what I do in between dishes.

Don,
That does not look like a G6?! I thought that's the only way you travelled? ;)

Here are some great choices in MV.

1. Raw 19
2. Atria
3. Red Cat Kitchen
4. Chillmark Tavern (more casual for the E3 crowd like me!)

Happy 4th. to you and all.

Gonna take a few hours but going to see America. Anybody in Moline or Teterboro?

Really nice friend is letting Wendy and I hitch a ride. Final destination is Martha’s Vineyard.

My Sainted Aunt... I heard a rumour that Don has been cast as the next Bond Villian :D

Shane?
I got your sandwich!
Don, I sincerely apologize for the late response. I am sooooo jealous, not only of your ride but also honored that you mentioned me in the thread. I have been on the board but mostly visiting the parts section, still looking for some stuff. Just noticed this thread a minute ago.

Add to that, I have literally had company for the last two weeks, the last couple with their kids took a lot out of me, I am beat, not used to kids and even though they are like my nephews, they are a lot of work and it was their only vacation this year visiting me in ID so I went all out showing them all the beauty around here. I was out of cell range for like (3) days (which is awesome) but I am just now mentally and physically getting back into my routine.

How was the pastrami on rye? I still haven't found a great place for one here or in Spokane.

That plane and pictures are amazing. I can't believe it has been this long (since 2005) when I soloed, but I soloed in a Citabria, did spin training in the injected version; the Decathlon and had the chance to fly aerobatics in a Pitts Special two seat trainer and best of all an Extra 300 Unlimited. I've only flown taildraggers.

Keep up the traveling! Safe flight and more pics please...awesome! Cheers! I'll crack some vino for you later, a nice red of course! -S

EDIT: FUN fact, Citabria spelt backwards is......wait for it....Airbatic...even people that have flown those didn't realize that.
