Very cool BMW CCA badge, grill is in good condition too.

Badge will probably clean up nice with very careful attention. Only 28 stars in the flag, go figure. They are inlaid metal, which is nice. I think a very rare CCA badge.

Vintage CCA is different than the BMW CCA. That is a Vintage CCA badge. Both @HB Chris and @adawil2002 are active with that group. Perhaps they can offer some insight into that particular badge.

From prior to the two Vintage clubs coming together four or five years ago, now the Classic CCA.

The BMW Veteran & Classic CCA was founded by Goetz Pfafflin & recognized by the International Council of BMW Cubs.

Goetz passed the club to Dirk de Groen at the closing dinner at the end of The Roads to Monterey Tour in Paciific Grove CA.

Dirk changed the neme to BMW Classic CCA the 3rd quarter of 2016.

I love the grille badge. I feel like I had a sticker or decal with that artwork. I also love the little soldering third hand that the OP is using to prop up the grill for the photo. I have one of those and it comes in very handy.
