I just listed my NOS Personal Fittipaldi Mahogany Steering Wheel, with BMW horn button and hub (boss) on eBay. It’s a Buy It Now with free shipping to USA. The eBay listing number is:

Yes, some sources say these mahogany Personal steering wheels are slightly larger in diameter due to the thickness of the wood. I measured mine last night, and it’s 350 mm. To quote the old Virginia Slim cigarette commercial, maybe “ a silly millimeter longer ” but nothing significant. The wheel is lovely and has some heft, for sure. Thank you
 
eBay just changed my item number to 206204573660. There’s another Personal Fittipaldi steering wheel on eBay now, and they thought the two ads were too similar. Even though my steering wheel has a “plug and play” BMW hub adapter and BMW horn button. One thing that is interesting about the other steering wheel is that seller has a little booklet that came from Personal. If someone from the E9 forum buys my steering wheel, they may want to copy the Personal Booklet pictures from the other eBay ad.

Thanks for reading this update. I guess time had run out for me to make changes/updates within the E9 ad, and eBay’s AI system is apparently hard at work. Oh, for the days when Hemmings Motor News showed up in the mailbox monthly! Mahalo nui. Robert
