Does anyone have an unmolested original 38cm CSL Petri? Is so, can you post some closeup pics of the stitching style and also pics at the end of the spokes where they meet up with the leather.

I would like to rewrap the leather to its original stitching pattern. The stitching on my Petri is not sewn correctly I believe.

The leather knub areas where they are attached to the 3 spokes, some are straight and some flared. I've seen both styles on CSLs and regular e9s. So the question is: which version is correct for the CSL wheel or were the 2 styles interchanged at the factory by whatever wheel that was supplied by Petri and what's at hand at that particular moment?

Thanks!

Here is mine, I think it's called the cross loop stitch or something, not the "baseball" stitch.

Please present the wheel after its done. The stitch and finish is extremely hard to get right.
Another important aspect is the position of the stitch. It's more behind than center, therefore, when you look at the wheel head on, the stitching is only partially visible. Minor but important aspect.
