My CSI needs (along with a lot of stuff) a new piston set; the problem is that I need a .50 oversize set but WN doesn't have them in their stock (at least nothing is online). Is there someone who sells it? May I replace them with a piston from another BMW (es. 633)?

Thanks in advance

There are numerous after market companies that make good pistons.

You would need to know your exact specs to order them.

This company advertises in the BMW Roundel.

And I have this companies pistons in an E28 M5 S38 motor. Same block as an M30 motor.

You will have to find a dealer like Summit Racing or
this company.

A set of pistons will probably be about $1200-1400 with rings.

Thank you for the info; yes I know that they will cost to me from 1500 to 2000 but I've no alternatives as the original ones are scratched and not salvageable.

What is not clear to me is: are the CSI piston interchangeable with others? I've doubts about the piston top.
