On the passenger side there is a plastic strip. On the the drivers side there is a small gap.
Is this the part?
Part #
51715776180
Does not look right.

Hi Gordon, there should be a flexible seal on the outside of both fender liners. I'm not sure if they are still available. If there is a gap then there is an entry point for water and other muck to enter so it should be cleaned, treated and sealed. There may be a small drain dimple at the bottom- not sure.

Peter;
Thanks. I will check out the area prior to the seal re-install.
The passenger side is nicely sealed. The driver side looks like it came out at some point. Can probably find a reasonable replacement for the BMW part.
Would like to see if I can locate the correct seal piece first.
Anybody have the part number or source? Because the part in real OWM looks like it is not a seal for the front surface per the picture.\

#11 does not look right but it might be. Please measure the exact amount needed, I think I can spare enough for 1 side.

I measured the side that is in place. 8.5".
one side is all I need. But, it may still be available.
I think those pictures were taken at the optimal angle and location. :rolleyes:Thanks
