I meant to say--Please ALLOW me to introduce myself . . .

I have a 1972 that I have decided it is time to get working on. I replaced the engine and tranny last year and it has done nothing but sat since then. I am a long time BMW owner (including a 1967 2000CS that I sold 6 months ago). I current have:

[FONT=arial,helvetica,helv]2001 750il Impala Brown
1972 Bavaria
1995 750il Black
1997 740i

I have had:

Past BMW's:
1989 535i (retired with 238k on the clock)
1994 325i
1994 M5 Euro
1991 M5
1995 M3
1997 M3/4
2000 325i
2000 740i Sport
2000 X5 4.4
1999 740i
2001 X5 3.0
1967 2000CS
2001 X5 4.4
1989 325ix

In the near future is paint, interior, and brakes. I also need a windshield. Any ideas on that? Also, does anyone recoginze the steering wheel and what horn button would fit to replace it?

Thanks!

Eric

Eric,

Welcome. Add your location to your profile so we know where you are. Windshields should be available from BMW or even aftermarket. I think the wheel needs to go. :)

Hey Eric, welcome. I look forward to following your progress with the project. I'm working on. '76 3.0 Si, as you might have gathered from my posts.

You sure have some BMW 4 doors. (And had quite a selection ) My first Bavaria looked like yours, except it was filled with rust holes. I gotta agree with Chris on the Wheel. The optional wood one they came with is very nice.
