Brendan, this was truly an Outlaw ... the build quality on this car is one of the great builds of an e9. i remember this car when you were working on it ... one of the visits to the shop showed the metal floors. i'm glad that you are in a good enough place now to show the high quality of your work, in spite of the partner's antics.

I have only been part of the vintage BMW family for about ten years but mostly 2002, and only in the e3 & e9 world for almost a year. Not sure how many folks outside of this forum are privy to this car, but holy smokes! This is exactly what I was after, builds like this. This makes three I’ve seen on this level. I do not have the chops to create something like this, but what an inspiration of what can be done.

It looks fantastic. How does it drive, on the road, or is it a full on racer? Singer makes cars which are updated but they are driveable for use on the road or as a daily. Eagle do the same with E Type Jags in the UK. It seems that these cars are very valuable in the market. I aimed to do the same with mine as I was budget constrained and I am not pernickity enough to take the car back to originality. I mentioned that nobody is doing the 'reborn' thing with E9's but there was little interest from people in the industry. Our cars can look sensational once they are updated a little in the looks and a lot in how they drive and work. Despite being an old nail compared to the exquisite pieces of jewellery which some of my colleagues display from time to time, it still gets an awful lot of interest.
