Power door locks in a 74?

Working my way around car doing window motor rehab and am now at the pass door where I've discovered what looks to be a power attachment to door locking mechanism.It's a box with a hokey hooped stiff wire attached to the lock.Wires are disconnected and got no idea how they connect.Anyone else got one?Where do wires go when they leave door?Thanks.

As far as I am aware the E9 never came with power / central locking. Its possible that it is the remains of an aftermarket system or a car alarm.
