Power steering seals

Hi guys
I am looking for a bit of advice please.
I am just getting around to rebuilding my power steering system.
The steering box looks dry on the outside so I don’t think the seals are leaking but having said that , the engine hasn’t been running since 1989 so maybe the seals perish with time, I do not know, I have never worked on a car with a steering box before.
Then my power steering pump does look oily and messy on the outside , so I am assuming that she is leaking.
So guys I am wondering if anyone knows the size of the seals I need to buy for the pump and then maybe the steering box also.
I cannot ship my parts out for rebuilding as shipping would most likely be very expensive , anyway I would be happier to do the job myself .
Also , should the high pressure hose be replaced , ie do they deteriorate with time ?
And if so Is there a source for RHD high pressure hoses ?

You can check realOEM and get some seal, bearing and o ring sizes They list some of the sizes by the part number If you clean the face of the seals, you may be able to see 3 numbers, these are the seal size , if you have that any place that seals seals can probably get them for you O rings you can measure, Bearings will also have a size on them except for the needle roller bearings or any bushings but these can be measured As far as the hose goes, you can have a place that makes hydraulic hoses could probably make one up for, maybe having to reuse your original ends. And, yes, they do deteriorate with time. You could go crazy and get everything media blasted / cleaned and repaint/ powder coat/ cerakote pieces and get brackets, bolts and hardware plated I don't know if there are complete kits available. Takes a bit of digging but can be done

Thanks, Rick

I think I put all the seals and bearing info in my DIY:

Thanks a million
That is brilliant !
There are soo many parts I better clear a good space in the garage to work on it
Thanks again !!
Is there any chance that you did a rebuild on the steering box also ??

I’m not sure I’m brave enough to rip into my 50 year old NLA steering box just yet .
I did take my pump apart this evening though , the how to guide helped a lot so that’s all progress .
I spotted this guy online working on a steering box from something else.
He might be onto something o_O

Nothing like shooting a c clip across the garage!

Hi Guys
I didn’t actually intend on doing a rebuild on the box , but as soon as I accidentally knocked out some of the needle bearings I had no choice but to just keep on going .
Anyway it all worked out well and I had a nice cold beer at the end of it all .
Hopefully it might help a few others along the way also :)
