I am looking to replace the aluminum trim around the power window switches. Does anyone have a source for this? Thanks

I'm wondering if they can be turned over and be better on hr reverse side. If not you can purchase aluminum sheets at any hardware store and have them cut out. to exact size .
They have welded on spikes on the other side to fix em .
No turn around possible.
You can remove the anodized, re brush them and anodized new.
Or look around for some in better condition.

Okay, thanks for the help.
the aluminum cannot be turned over, there are fasteners on the other side. the aluminum can probably be refinished - taking it to a specialist. it has an anodized coating
You could use some silver stick on material from a print shop until you find a perminate solution.

I like that idea. Duplicolor makes a ceramic Cast Aluminum spray that goes on well and may be just the ticket! In any event, a useful first step to see if this may meet your needs.

I am just trying to do a reproduction of these trims, with the help of a company specialised in sheet metal working.
Here are the first results:
- scanning of the original trims
- auto laser cutting the aluminium sheet
- auto bolting a M4 screw by arc welding
- "scotching" the surface
The result is perfect,
but the stress test revealed the possibility of the bolts loosening during mounting.
So I will give it another try using stainless metal sheets.
I will report as soon as I have the first results.

I did and it came out quite nice.
1) easy-off oven cleaner removes the original anodize
2) make a sanding jig out of wood - holes in horizontal board to accept the posts of the aluminum trim piece and add a vertical fence as a sanding block guide
3) trim is not square and you want the sanding brush marks straight so the line between the post is to be parallel to the fence
4) i can't recall final grit on the finish sand - but you will figure it out
You can use mylar tape that comes in loads of finishes. Find it on line.

I'm n the process of refurbishing a shift surround now.
I used a satin brushed aluminum adhesive film laminate material and am very pleased with the results. I tried 4 or 5 different films and this particular one is extremely close to the original finish, the film even has the faint striations in the surface. I also think that the long-term durability will be excellent.
