I am about 10 miles away. Not sure of local shops that specialize in these vehicles as I do most. Of my own work.
There are a few shops that you can consider (that I know of): Premier Eurocars in Berwyn PA. Although they work mostly on modern cars it is not unusual for them to have a classic in their parking lot
I have not used Bavarian Specialties, but it has been mentioned to me by the facility where I store my coupe when it is not in my garage. www.bavarianspecialties.com
I can take a look at it for you if you like. I am not a shop but happy to visit their facility and poke around and take some pictures for you and share thoughts. If @CSteve is available we could do it together. If you are looking for compression tests and the like you really need to take it to a shop.
Congratulations! From the photos in the Hemings listing it looks like a nice solid original car, those are the best kind to buy IMHO.
