No doubt there's a BMW straight 6 in the '66 Impala and people on the Impala Forum are horrified. Why must people do these things?

But is it rusty? All things considered, it might not take that much to make this a track car. The drive train stuff is easy and rear bodywork can be removed. Asking $4500 for a rolling CS chassis...
 
I very much like that car oddly enough. Wonder how it works? I think I would keep tweaking the rear end….improving it's looks.
