Price check on keys and lock

My mechanic dug up a pair of Pebra keys and a door lock, all brand new in the box. I am thinking of buying it as I don't have working locks nor matching keys.

What would be a fair offer? Real OEM indicates a price but I have no idea if these are still available.

It's much easier to take your ignition key and rekey the door locks and trunk to match ignition.

I too have 3 different locks, I cant lock my boot / trunk currently!

Who would you take the locks to for that? Is it a specialty job that an average lock smith could do?

Chris-Why would rekeying doors be any easier than rekeying the ignition?

Any thoughts on the value of the parts?

if the ignition cylinder hasn't been taken out before, it can be difficult. taking out door locks or trunk locks are much easier.

The ignition cylinder is already out...it came out in pieces.

So at some point everything needs to go to a specialist for a proper rehab, and I figured it might help to have some new parts and keys in the mix.
